People define Conair and we currently have an opening for a full-time permanent Flight Operations Administrator.
Reporting to the Flight Operations Logistics Manager, the Flight Operations Administrator will leverage their superior administrative and organizational skills and provide a variety of administrative support duties to the flight operations department.
In this role your duties will include the following:
· Ensure that all Flight Operations personnel have safety as their primary objective by adhering to established safety policies and utilizing the appropriate safety reporting program to identify and communicate all known hazards and risks to the organization;
· Ensure continual improvement through the periodic review of training and standards documentation and processes;
· Act as Duty Officer and provide Operational Administrative Support and Customer Service for day-to-day operations;
· Ensure communication between internal departments and customers are accurate and clear;
· Assist with pilot scheduling and coordination of simulator usage;
· Assist with the tracking and maintaining pilot recency and flight & duty times;
· Assist with administration of pilot training including distribution of training programs and maintenance of pilot training files;
· Assist with pilot payroll and any accounting requirements for the department;
· Other duties as assigned by the Flight Operations Logistics Manager.
We are looking for someone with:
· Detail orientated with proven experience maintaining accurate records;
· Ability to organize work effectively;
· Excellent business understanding;
· Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills;
· Sound communication skills both written and oral;
· Strong team player with the ability to focus on customer requirements in a dynamic environment;
· Ability to work rotational shifts and on-call.
Training/Education:
· Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience;
· Previous experience working within the constraints of a Collective Agreement an asset;
· Previous flight dispatch experience an asset;
· Completion of Grade 12.
