The Operations Director will direct and manage all operations with overall responsibilities for safety, distribution, sales, and marketing. This role will collaborate with cross functional management to create budgets and develop business plans. The right candidate possesses proven leadership skills, as well as a strong ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that encourage growth.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for growing Business optimizing utilization of Sales Team and resources assigned to the Region, including Sales Team members reporting to this function.
• Directs and coordinates all distribution activities and operations to best optimize customer requirements.
• Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff, planning, and evaluating department activities.
• Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
• Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
• Manage Distribution centers.
• Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients.
• Working closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients.
• Developing new solutions to meet client needs.
• Improving internal processes for better productivity
• Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
• Managing Sales and Marketing efforts for Canada
• Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
• Responsible for meeting customer expectations in terms of quality, production, and delivery.
• Responsible for hitting sales and growth targets.
• Improving business processes for each department through analysis and collaboration.
• Assures prompt, accurate and complete reporting on all major aspects of operations.
• Decision making, analytical problem solving, forecasting, budgeting, negotiating, communicating, and evaluating are skills used daily on the job as well as the supervision and development of managers.
• Accountable for understanding all requirements of each job reporting to this position, ensuring each person is performing all requirements of the job and providing adequate training and development as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years direct progressive experience in sales and product management
• 10+ years leadership experience of various level
• Demonstrated ability to create and lead teams to drive change.
• Experience in Managing Operations.
• Proficient personal computer experience and software knowledge
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
