Position: Lead Project Manager
Role type: Permanent/Full-time

Responsibilities:
· Act as key liaison on projects – providing regular project status updates to company owner, project team and clients on planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution and delivery of client projects.
· Takes a long-term approach to managing and building relationships with clients.
· Takes active role in determining timeline, budgeting and resources for new client projects; adhering closely to project budgets.
· Coordinates and leads regular scheduled project meetings with clients and colleagues to provide updates on work completed/work in progress against project timeline and budget.
· Proactive in identifying potential project timeline risks and bottlenecks while working collaboratively with project team to determine an appropriate client specific approach.
· Advocates for the company’s best practice/approach and quality of service methodology throughout all client projects.
· Actively identifies and communicates new project requirement requests, to the business Owner
· Actively communicates project budget adjustments, as approved by Owner, and adjusted timeline updates to clients for approval prior to work commencing.
· Completes detailed and up-to date project management reports on project changes, milestones, and budgets for both internal and external purposes.
· Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
· Contributes to delivering completed software ERP products to clients and performs ongoing check-ins on products performance.
Required Experience:
· 7+ years of experience working as a Project Manager for IT, Technology, Software Development based projects.
· Hands on experience working with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
· Proven expertise independently managing multiple projects for mid-to large sized clients.
· Completion of a post-secondary Bachelor’s degree ideally in Business or Commerce
· Experience working in a client service organization is an asset.
· Knowledge of financial processes and operations is a valuable asset.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills; client focused nature.
· Demonstrated ability to thrive under-high pressure situations.
· Proven experience in applying an adaptable/flexible approach to the project management process.
· Holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification – asset, not required.
· Achievement of Six Sigma Certification – asset, not required.
