About the role
Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, you will conceive, execute, analyze, and iterate on data-driven email campaigns with both customers and prospects in a B2C and B2B capacity. This role primarily focuses on email, with integrated efforts in other communications channels, such as in-product and on-site conversion tools (e.g. pop-ups, banners etc.)— all designed to engage and retain interest and stimulate action.
The Email Marketing Manager will collaborate with a team of marketers and play a key role in driving growth for CFI.
Some of the key things you’ll do:
Own the email calendar, reporting, A/B testing strategies, creative direction, and email creation from start to finish.
Maintain email database hygiene and build loyalty, drive sales, and increase customer lifetime value through data-driven segmentation.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager to conceptualize automated flows based on audience data.
Collaborate with design, messaging, and technical resources to conceive, test, and analyze the performance of email, on-site, and in-app message templates and messages.
Develop documentation and roadmaps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.
Ensure emails follow industry standards and privacy policies.
Develop, track, and report on KPIs via OKRs.
What we’re looking for:
You have 3+ years of proven work experience as an email marketing manager. (Bonus points for experience within eLearning!)
You have a deep knowledge and understanding of Klaviyo or similar email automation platforms, lead nurturing, and audience segmentation.
You have numerous examples of running successful email marketing campaigns that have generated revenue and nurtured leads down the funnel.
You like getting your hands dirty with implementation, whether that’s building out an email template, writing copy, concepting automation flows, or pulling data to understand performance.
You have experience leveraging on-site conversion tools in tandem with email marketing campaigns.
You have a data-driven approach to marketing and have experience leveraging a wide variety of tools for growth, including Google Analytics, analytics in Klaviyo, and Tableau.
You have strong project management experience and are able to work cross-functionally to drive projects across the finish line
The ability to drive outcomes autonomously, who thrives on seeing an idea from start to finish.
