Job Summary: While seeking a college degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline, supports the finance department and assists with the general administrative duties and performs various financial activities that support the department’s workload requirements. This position typically works under close supervision and direction and is for the primary purpose of gaining knowledge and experience in a professional environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expands school and industry knowledge through greater exposure to financial services.
- Supports with month-end financial reports.
- Supports the development of reporting, analytics, tools & templates.
- Gains experience with accounts GL accounts and bank reconciliation.
- Assists with internal and external audits.
- Takes part in month end closing activities.
- Creates modeling spreadsheets and ensures spreadsheet data accuracy, including the use of formulas.
- Gathers, analyzes, and evaluates financial information for assigned financial analysis.
- Provides financial reporting support in preparing reports, presentations, etc.
- Works on special projects as required.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or enrolled in a degree in a related discipline such as accounting, finance, or business administration or related field.
- Effective written and oral communication and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheet manipulation (pivots, vlookup, countif, sumif, etc.).
- Previous experience in finance or banking, and knowledge of relevant financial, legislative and regulatory environments is preferred but not required.
