Position Description
The Vice President of People & Culture (‘VP, P&C’) will work directly with the People & Culture leadership team driving best in class programs related to the following:
Organization Design & Development
Compensation & Benefits
Diversity & Inclusion
Talent Acquisition
Strategic HR Operations
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP, P&C will work cross-functionally with business leaders to globally scale People & Culture strategies in alignment with business initiatives. The role will collaborate with leaders to set the right practices and key programs to support Damon’s growth.
The VP, P&C will bring deep expertise in generalist and specialized human resource strategies while developing custom programs for Damon.
What You’ll Be Doing Every Day
Developing scalable HR Programs and Policies across Damon
Partner with C-Suite and Business Executives to align P&C Strategies across function and markets
Direct Total Rewards, Wellbeing, DEI, Culture, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition globally
Promote and nurture inclusive and equitable people practices for our global organizations
Enhance and implement systems that can scale and reinforce a terrific company culture
Direct compensation and benefit innovations for Damon
Develop and promote Workforce Planning programs aligned with the Damon’s plans and budgets
Develop and enhance Damon’s performance management and retention programs
Create a career development plan for the P&C team and mentor their growth and progression within the company/career goals
What You Bring to the Table:
You have led the people function at a scale-up technology ideally going through a 150-400 growth stage and enjoyed the ever-evolving challenges that accompanied that journey
You have the ability and desire to build a company-wide HR strategy but are also willing to “roll up your sleeves” to get things done
Experience supporting C-Suite and multiple business executives
Ability to design and deploy new global HR programs as well as improvements to existing platforms
Expertise in HR practices, policies, legislation and law
BBA, HR Management or Equivalent
Ideally, you also have experience with a rapidly growing company from start-up to IPO stage in Tech, Consumer, or Automotive space.
