The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing process/Quality engineering support to manufacturing, and NPI (New Product Introduction) team to ensure design & development of highest quality product for our customer. In this role, you will have the opportunity drive significant impact in the organization, contributing to exciting projects, and experience continuous growth within our team.
This position is part of the design quality engineering and will be located in Concord, ON site. Join us in realizing the vision of our OpCo/department/team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide Quality Engineering support to NPI teams to ensure development of highest quality new products.
Provide Quality Engineering support by closely working with IQC team to identify defective material and disposing it through NCMR (Nonconforming Material Report) process.
Executes first article inspection activities as needed by NPI team.
Provide quality engineering support to engineering team by performing a review and approval of Engineering Change Request and Engineering Change Orders.
Work closely with cross functional team to ensure adherence to procedures as required by SCIEX Quality Management System.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 1 year experience.
Experience with incoming inspection and NCMR process.
Experience with New Product Introductions.
Exposure to and/or experience with Engineering Change Requests and Change Orders
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Self-motivated and self-managing in a highly technical, fast-paced environment with a clear and effective communication capabilities.
Able to work collaboratively with a variety of functions – from design engineering to operations and manufacturing.

The salary range for this role is $64,800 – $89,100 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
