What You Will Do
Under the direction of the Manager, Transitions & Engagement, the Student Services Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and oversight of student life programs at the University of Guelph-Humber. The primary focus of the role includes new student transitions programs coordination and student group advising. New student transition programs that the Student Services Coordinator will plan and organize include the institutions First Year Experience (FYE) program and Orientation events. Student group advising includes assisting with goal setting, team building, conflict resolution, and training. The position is integral to the University of Guelph-Humber’s commitment to a balanced student experience and for meeting and maintaining retention goals.
