DECAST is leading the Canadian infrastructure market, including water transmission, bridges, storm and sanitary, tunneling and engineered precast products. We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our Payroll Team in Utopia, ON. The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing timely and professional Human Resources support, while ensuring the appropriate governing legislation is adhered to. They will also act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries from employees. This role will oversee the day-to-day execution of applicable programs, policies and procedures in accordance with the Organization’s objectives.
This position is not a work-from-home role.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Assist with the preparation, coordination and delivery of New Hire Orientation and various training programs to all employees and various levels within the organization as required
· Support recruitment efforts as needed, including phone screening, and interviews
· Support WSIB claims management and Return to Work initiatives for injured workers.
· Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history of all employees
· Provide guidance and instruction to employees on Human Resources policies, programs and systems
· Actively participate in HR audits, employee opinion surveys, focus groups and have a hands-on approach in the completion of subsequent action plans
· Responsible for the maintenance of all Human Resources bulletin boards and forms
· Coordinate and/or participate in social events as required
· Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Skills, Education & Experience
· Post-secondary Diploma in Office Administration or Human Resources
· 1 – 2 Years of previous experience in human resources in manufacturing setting
· Working towards obtaining a Certified Human Resources Designation (CHRP)
· Understanding of Canadian employment legislation and Occupational Health & Safety Act
· Proficiency with MS Office applications
