Black-owned and Operated Residential Roofing has been servicing HRM and surrounding areas since 2015. With a wide range of commercial and residential projects yearly, we would like someone to join our team as an office administrator with project administrator duties. The administrator role is imperative for smooth operations in the office and out in the field. This role is hybrid based Monday-Friday. Must be a Recent Graduate of Canadian College or University (within 12 months, this is GTO subsidized position)
Responsibilities
• KPI-related reporting, variance, and compliance
• Contract administration, including tendering and document management
• Issuing of purchase orders and invoice verification
• Responsible for providing process training and documentation
• Design and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases
• Assisting with analysis and updating departmental capital budget
• File updating, maintenance and management
• Scheduling of department meetings and minutes recording
• Assist with planning and presentation of events
• Communicating with both internal and external customers while displaying excellent customer service skills
Qualifications
▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
▪ Excellent organization and time management abilities.
▪ Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a creative approach.
▪ Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong teamwork ethos.
▪ Outstanding interpersonal skills for building strong client relationships.
▪ Resourcefulness in optimizing processes and data-driven decision-making
