What will your typical day look like?
The Chief Accounting Office is seeking a Manager who will provide support directly to Chief Accounting officer. The individual will assist in the preparation of executive presentations, co-ordinate key deliverables and navigate/problem solve solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence, be able to work under tight deadlines, effectively collaborate with leaders across all functions and levels of the organization, have demonstrated project management abilities, strong analytical skills, and business acumen, as well as an interest in supporting internal operations, and the ability to support executive decision-making.
About the team
Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, which oversees all aspects of Financial Accounting at Deloitte and helps lead Finance through on going change for a future. This is a dynamic group of highly motivated individuals focused on continuous learning and growth, added-value analysis and driving efficiencies through process improvement and automation. Great role to have oversight to how a Partnership works and direct exposure to many aspects of the Firm and our leaders to learn from.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone who has:
A degree in accounting or business/commerce with an ability to project manage where necessary
3+ years of experience in a Controllership, FP&A or Finance business partner role
Represent the team as an analytics & insights professional, with ability to convey complex information and bridge the gap between financial results and business trends
Ability to translate financial and operational data and analysis into clear and articulate executive presentations to enable decision making
Ability to collaborate with and influence other finance teams, while providing expert knowledge, advice and/or guidance
Advanced Excel proficiency and working with large volumes of data
Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities with little direction in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to a large ERP system environment with complex processes
