This is a hybrid role located at dentalcorp’s Toronto Support Centre. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing support on all areas within the Finance Department.
In this role, you will
- Assemble and analyze financial data to prepare financial statements
- Strong Reconciliation abilities – GL account and all other reconciliations including daily Bank Reconciliation
- Process daily, weekly and monthly transactions including reconciliations, bank deposits, journal entries and payments.
- Assemble, consolidate, and analyze financial data
- Assist internal and external stakeholders with interim and year end audits
- In Depth financial analysis and manipulation to identify discrepancies
- Examine and analyzed account records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Preparation of managerial reports to the Financial Management
What we’re looking for
- University Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Ideally 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role/environment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A self-starter, highly positive can-do attitude in a rapidly changing environment
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel (pivot tables and look-ups), Word and PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Motivated to take on new challenges
- Excellent communication skills and a “people person”
- Bilingual in French would be an asset
