Senior construction site supervisor required for townhouse project in Hamilton.
DUTIES
- Organizing team schedules and delegate tasks for workflow;
- Complete hands-on construction tasks as required;
- Ensure homes are ready for target closing dates;
- Read and interpret blue prints and specifications;
- Supervising, coordinating and scheduling the daily activities of construction tradespeople as required;
- Coordinating work activities with subcontractors;
- Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality;
- Ordering materials and supplies;
- Follow safety procedures and company policies;
- Ensuring standards for safe working conditions are observed;
- Preparing schedules, work progress, production and other reports;
- Supervising, coordinating and scheduling the activities of labourers;
- Returning all messages and emails as required;
- Emphasized and ensure standards of quality, material and workmanship on all homes.
QUALIFICATION
- 5 or more years of experience in a similar leadership position as a Site Superintendent.
- Previous experience with high-volume construction in the low-rise residential space.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
