JOB OBJECTIVES
Providing a clean, sanitized and visually appealing restaurant for guests and team members. Maintain safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest and team member safety.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Treats all guests, team members and managers with dignity, respect and caring
- Displays a helpful, friendly and approachable attitude towards guests, team members and managers
- Consistently arrives to work on time and ready for shift
- Practices teamwork by communicating with and assisting others to ensure a great guest and team member experience
- Uses equipment and performs tasks safely as directed
- Cleans areas of the restaurant and equipment according to standards as assigned by management
- Sets up, breaks down and cleans the dish machine and three compartment sink
- Sets up the dish area; sorts, rinses and washes dirty dishes, glasses, silverware and other cooking utensils
- Sorts and stacks clean dishes and stocks them in the proper place
- Cleans bathroom fixtures, glass and floors to standard and stocks items as needed; cleans floors in all areas of restaurant to standard
- Maintains the parking lot, dumpster area and building exterior to standard
- Stocks appropriate supplies throughout restaurant
- Completes additional cleaning projects as assigned
- Assist the chef with some food prep work as directed
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Performs duties that require bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, and transporting items
(weighing up to 100 pounds)
- Works by standing and by moving in small and crowded spaces
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
