The Instructor hours will be set at 21 hours a week over the course of 3 days.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor, Food Training Program, the Community Food Training Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging and informative trainings and workshops centred around food and cooking that prepares clients to find employment within the culinary industry. The Instructor works collaboratively with clients, stakeholders and partners. Through hands-on instruction and experiential learning, the Instructor empowers participants to develop essential culinary skills, make healthy food choices, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for cooking.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as the Community Food Training Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative training and workshops centred around food and cooking while preparing clients to find employment within the Culinary Industry. food and cooking training and workshops to community members seeking job opportunities in the culinary art and food sector.
