Responsibilities
- Directly assist as required to the Controller and the Assistant Controller.
- Verify/correct the audit prepared by the night auditor.
- Balance all departments’ transactions from previous day.
- Prepare DRR and DSR on a daily basis.
- Make collection calls;
- Compile and balance the credit card vouchers for direct deposit;
- Prepare daily invoicing on a timely basis to ensure collection of accounts within 30 days;
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts;
- Answer guests’ inquiries;
- Set up billing requests;
- Open accounts, reference for credits;
- Control all advance deposits and follow up;
- Inform management of the status of the accounts as required.
- Other duties may be added associated with accounting as required by the company.
Qualifications
- Experience in Accounting or hotel industry;
- Accounting education an asset;
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills;
- Multitasking;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Ability to deal with all levels of management and staff in a professional manner.
- Bilingual: French and English
