Bradford Facility For Assistant Controller
The ideal candidate would have a professional accounting designation or University/college diploma in accounting. You will provide hands-on transactional and analytical support in all facets of finance and accounting, along with supporting the Controller and VP Finance with business partnership and decision support within the broader organization.
Responsibilities:
· Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
· Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling, analyzing and documenting account and transaction information.
· Prepares balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis and commentary.
· Support the company’s continuous improvement program through business partnership and financial analysis
· Partner cross functionally to identify and recommend solutions to root cause issues
· Support the design and creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, KPI tools and dashboards.
· Prepare government remittances, accounting audit & tax work papers.
· Train, coach and support the accounts payable team
· Prepare vendor payments by verifying and documenting weekly cash disbursements.
· Reconcile vendor accounts and proactively resolve invoice and payment issues
· Look after new Vendor setup and vendor master data management
· Other tasks and ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
· CPA Designation or advanced standing in CPA professional program preferred
· 3-5 Years Finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel required)
· Strong organizational skills; must be detail-oriented
· Ability to meet deadlines and deal with issues in a diplomatic and positive manner
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
