Your Role

You will be part of a team in charge of software development on the embedded processor on the product installed in each vehicle. You will help us improve our map matching algorithms and develop continuous integration test environments to better test each iteration of improvement. Also, we are in the process of adding a new feature to the product that will allow us to control the speed of a vehicle based on weather conditions. Essentially, this will allow our customers to decrease the maximum speed allowed for a vehicle if the weather conditions are adverse.

Furthermore, you will also be responsible for the development of our Android application Esmart-notifier. This application allows us to communicate information to the driver when certain events are detected by the E-SMART product.

What will you do

· Develop source code to automate the testing of the various product features.

· Write and maintain documentation on the new features developed.

· Set up and execute a test plan to validate that all features are met according to the specifications.

· Perform debugging of source code developed by team members.

· Plan and document new features for which you will be responsible.

· Find technical solutions for problems encountered by customers.

Desired Skills

· 2-3 years of experience in Android mobile application development

· Experience in algorithm development

· Experience in Research and Development

· Demonstrates can do attitude

Must Have

· Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems

· Knowledge of the Android operating system

· Linux/Unix system programming in C, C++ and Script Shell

· Already developed a fully functional application in Android

· Knowledge of the Android operating system

· Knowledge of ADB, debugging and profiling tools
