Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Eagles Landing Medical Centre and Walk-in Clinic. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, managing patient assessments, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. The nurse will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, public health vaccines, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and providing patient education and support.
Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, Accuro
- Knowledge of best practices in nursing and healthcare
- Experience in performing pap smears is an asset
- Experience in a primary care or walk-in clinic setting is an asset
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree
