Eaton’s EPG EAS Electrical Automation Solutions division is currently an experienced Manager to lead a new Solutions Services department within our Professional Services organization. This department provides tailored, engineered, and integrated intelligent solutions to power utilities. The Senior Manager Solutions Delivery will collaborate closely with utility customers, internal product owners and Eaton Sales to review, scope and plan delivery of new solutions business while managing a dynamic and diverse department of Subject Matter Experts, technical resources, and project managers.

In this role you will:
Develop and execute the strategic vision for the EAS Solution Services team, aligning with the overall company objectives and goals.
Collaborate closely with established product engineering and product marketing functions to stay on top of individual product direction and to utilize key SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) for solutions development.
Represent delivery side of the business in assessment process for newly submitted solution proposals to ensure reality tempers vision.
Coordinate with existing development leaders throughout the organization to ensure solutions reflect development best practices and support eventual productization.
Ensure customer retention and satisfaction by gathering feedback and driving a customer-first mindset.
Build organizational capabilities by acting as a coach and motivator to help employees develop and meet their career goals
Essential job duties:
Establish and maintain an effective Agile solutions development lifecycle, from initial proposal through to deployment
Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of project managers, solution engineers, and developers to deliver high-performance software solutions.
Implement and uphold rigorous quality assurance standards to guarantee the reliability and functionality of all custom software solutions.
Oversee at a departmental level all aspects of development, integration and maintenance of complex software solutions across a portfolio of customers, including calculating risk, driving collaboration with R&D teams and reporting to management on time/budget milestones and scope deviations.
Allocate departmental and shared resources and workloads, effectively, to ensure timely and successful solutions delivery.
Expand Hosted Systems, Software as a Service , and cloud enabled offerings, ensuring its alignment with market demands and business goals.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree relating to Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and related fields, or equivalent
6 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role leading a technical or business development department
Proven experience in developing and managing the delivery of software solutions to customers
Ability to travel 25-50%
Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future
Reside within 80km of our Brossard, QC location.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Business Administration or Master of Technology Degree
Proven experience in developing and managing software solutions specifically within the power utilities sector
Working knowledge of utility processes and business practices
Understanding of SaaS offerings and software development methodologies
Written and spoken fluency in French
