In this function you will:
Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and reports to aid in profitably managing the CIEI business and makes recommendations to compensate for variances when detected.
Complete and consolidate financial schedules and bridges to communicate consolidated actual and forecasted results as compared to plan and forecast targets.
Provide accurate and timely account reconciliations and resolves variances in a timely manner. Determines any corrective/period-end adjustment postings as required. Ensures compliance with audit requirements and Eaton’s policy.
Develop, communicate, and maintain accurate and adequate reserves for payroll, fringe benefits and returns. Determines any corrective/period-end adjustment postings as required.
Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Eaton Financial policies, GAAP, local regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Participates in regular internal balance sheet reviews.
Manage the accurate and efficient processing of transactions in the accounting system and ensures compliance with federal and provincial sales tax regulations.
Perform all intercompany balance functions including any relevant analysis, reconciliation, and processes. Resolves any discrepancies, oversees monthly settlement process, and builds relationships with intercompany trading partners to ensure outstanding intercompany items are settled on a timely basis and in accordance with Eaton policy.
Oversee all treasury and disbursement tasks including the review of reconciliations, third party payment runs and month-end processes/journal entries. Ensures that any issues in issuing payments, with either the bank or accounting system, are promptly resolved.
Handle intercompany current account (ICA) balancing and journal entries. Assists Corporate Treasury and the Controller in completing hedging related tasks including problem solving.
Monitor lease administration; investigates and resolves discrepancies between accounting system and lease processing system. Tracks and maintains all active leases.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study
Minimum three (3) years’ of progressive Financial Analysis / Accounting previous work experience
Actively pursuing or in possession of professional designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, CA)
Must be able to work in the Canada without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
Preferred qualifications:
SAP software experience will be an asset
Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
Advanced excel skill set
Excellent communication skills
