Smithers Community Services Association (SCSA) is a non-profit organization with 50 years’ experience developing and delivering programs and services, and cultivating partnerships that enhance the quality of life for all members of our community. SCSA has an inclusive, people first approach, recognizing that many folks who use our services may be experiencing poverty, homelessness, isolation and addiction. Housing programs make up 50% of the operating budget. Other services include transit, newcomer services, and an array of support services intended to contribute to the social wellbeing of people and community. SCSA employs over 60 people, and has an annual operating budget of approximately $3.5 million dollars.

POSITION: Executive Director
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Executive Director is responsible for the leadership, management, and operations of the organization in accordance with the strategic direction and the policies set by the Board of Directors (Board). The Executive Director represents the organization and works to achieve the organization’s mandate, enhance organizational capacity, fulfil program deliverables, and cultivate community partnerships. This is a fulltime position.
