The Human Resources Coordinator provides HR support and coordinates all HR programs and processes including talent attraction and acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and offboarding.

Duties & Responsibilities
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
· Reply to employee queries in a timely manner
· Prepare employee letters and memos
· Prepare company HR communications
TALENT MANAGEMENT/ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
· Update and maintain organizational charts
· Assist with the recruiting and hiring process, posting approved job postings online, screening applicant resumes, scheduling candidate interviews, participating in the interview process
· Prepare employment agreements
· Assist with development of an onboarding program and coordinate it for all new hires
· Coordinate logistics for new hire onboarding, employee training sessions, and offboarding
· Coordinate the annual performance review program
· Create and maintain job descriptions
· Assist with the creation and deployment of employee surveys
· Assist with updating, maintaining, and implementing employment and safety policies and practices
· Assist with creating and implementing programs to promote a positive employee experience
BENEFIT ADMINISTRATION
· Group benefit plan administration
· Onboarding and offboarding as it relates to benefits
Required Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE
· Thorough knowledge of Ontario employment legislation including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health & Safety Act, etc.
· Solid understanding of general HR best practices
EDUCATION
· Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
· CHRP (or in progress)
EXPERIENCE
· 3+ years of experience in several areas of human resources
SKILLS
· Effective interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism and tact
· Ability to deal with all levels of stakeholders diplomatically and sensitively
· Able to maintain confidentiality
· Ability to apply critical thinking
· Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
· Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Proficient in MS 365
· Ability to self-start
