Due to continued growth, Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) is looking for the next great addition(s) to our team. The Child Support Specialist will provide collaborative, support services to the Mental Health, Early Intervention and Health Components in the Resource Team as well as support the implementation of a developmentally appropriate early childhood education practices for children enrolled in EOCF programs. This position is budgeted for 40 hours per week. With an hourly rate of $22.40.

Required Education

• High School diploma- Must be willing to further training/education with support of EOCF.

Preferred Education

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Required Experience

• 1 year of experience with children displaying challenging behaviors and/or special needs.

• Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP)- curriculum for work with children and parents/guardians.
• Family Engagement Programs develops partnerships with EOCF staff and families
• Sponsorship of the Vancouver HotShots Youth Sports basketball program for grades 1-6
