The ideal candidate will be an observant, engaged and methodical individual with a genuine passion for the customer service field. This position is responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles and scheduling drivers to ensure that the appropriate number of drivers arrive at the location on time. The successful candidate will also be able to identify potential logistical issues, take preventive measures to eliminate safety hazards and other problems, and monitor customer satisfaction. A strong knowledge of public transportation is strongly preferred.
Our client is one of the fastest growing freight forwarding companies in Mississauga, and are looking for ROCKSTAR dispatchers to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the police and fire department.
- Make sure that all calls are logged in the correct manner.
- Use equipment to monitor locations of officers.
- Read information from computer screen.
- Respond to information from individuals over a radio or on the telephone.
The perfect dispatcher will have the following:
- Previous experience as a dispatcher in the freight forwarding industry
- Previous experience working in an office setting
- Atleast 45 wpm
- Must be Fluent in English
- Must be Fluent in Hindi
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
