Elements Dental is currently searching for candidates for Office Administration positions.
The candidate should have formal training or some previous experience working in the dental office.
Responsibilities: – Prepare, present and discuss treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients –
Close and collect on agreed-upon treatment plans –
Provide oversight on matters and transactions with insurance companies, electronic billing and claims, as well as verifying patient’s dental insurance benefits
– Correspond with patients, dental labs and referral offices.
– Filing, organizing and properly documenting information – Greeting patients, answering/handling phone calls and emails
– Schedule patients and set recall dates
– Certifying that the daily schedule is followed by other members of the staff, deadlines are met and standard procedures are followed.
– Managing patient records, forms, dental and office supplies. Attributes of the ideal candidate:
– Completion of post-secondary education program
– Experienced in the dental field with knowledge of the clinical side of dentistry, office and patient management, front desk and procedure coding
– Motivated to provide the best level of care and service to patients
– Emotionally and mentally mature with solid ethics, honesty, and a sense of integrity
– Intelligent, self-motivated individual with strong organizational and schedule management skills
– Ability to work independently, set priorities, anticipate deadlines, focus, pay attention to detail and multitask (handle a variety of situations while maintaining a calm presence at all times)
– Decision-making ability
– Strong interpersonal skills
– Positive and friendly demeanour able to work well with others in a team atmosphere
– Always ready to listen and accept constructive criticism
– Eagerness to constantly learn and improve
– Strong computer skills
Wage $25-35 per hour
