Accounts Payable Clerk (3+ months)
Our client located in downtown Calgary, is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. This position will go permanent for the right fit, so if you’re looking to prove yourself in a junior accounting / invoicing role – don’t wait! Hiring is underway!
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience working within Accounts Payable or Invoicing
- Excellent communication skills allow you to liaise with external contacts, suppliers and internal divisions
- Intermediate level experience in MS Office including Excel, and Outlook, experience with SAP would be considered an asset
- A calm and thoughtful attitude will ensure you can meet deadlines in a changing environment
- Must be proactive and customer service focused
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of invoices
- Reconcile invoices, and assist with month end responsibilities if required
- GL reconciliations
- Assist with cheque runs, EFT and bank deposits
- Create JE to record transactions and adjustments
- Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
