A leader in providing Construction, Engineering, Procurement & Management services world-wide, our client is looking for a professional, , self-motivated, and detail oriented Document Controller in their Calgary office who will be responsible for day-to-day document control activities.
Responsibilities:
- Control the inflow and outflow of documents within the department
- Establish, copy, scan, and store documents following corporate policy
- Maintain physical and digital records of documents and ensure they are stored appropriately
- Review, modify and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
- Manage the organization’s documentation processes and adhere to the company’s standards of practice around documentation and information management
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documentation
- Conduct reviews and updates of documentation for maintenance and quality control
- Assure the destruction and disposal of sensitive records securely
- Provide document management support to company personnel
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of document control experience in an engineering project environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well within a team setting
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities along with sharp attention to detail and proficiency in time management
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), SharePoint platforms, and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion around sensitive information
