Financial Accounting Manager
We are seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to support analysis and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. This position involves management analysis and discussion and supporting staff development. Responsibilities:
- Review, reconcile and publish IFRS compliant financial statements for use by internal and external stakeholders.
- Validating the pipeline accounting transaction life cycle.
- Working with stakeholders to understand issues driving variance.
- Monitoring internal controls and procedures.
- Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Leading both pipeline accounting and marketing accounting teams ensuring complete and accurate records and reports.
- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assisting with month-end reporting activities and preparing monthly reporting package with clear and concise commentary.
- Working with cross-functional teams to develop KPIs, maintain and create financial dashboards.
- Lead and develop staff in AP/AR and corporate accounting duties.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation is required.
- Must have 10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline.
- Must have 5 years management/leadership experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to deliver engaging and influential presentations.
- Superior skills in Excel, PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of information to provide accurate analysis.
