Our busy client is a purveyor of fine meat products and they are looking to add another team to their Production Line! Located in SE Calgary, this General Labourer position requires a dedicated, self-motivated, and enthusiastic person who can help move skewering products to and from the production line in preparation for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle fresh meat products.
- Prepare the product for packaging and shipping.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- General warehouse tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Physically capable of standing for long periods.
- Able to lift loads up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a cooler environment.
- Able to work with pork and beef products.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
- Steel-toed boots are required and all other PPE is provided.
- Able to work alongside a diverse team, and assist as needed.
- Understanding of Tagalog and/or Viet would be well-regarded.
The location is transit accessible with ideal Morning shifts starting at 6 am. on a regular rotation, Monday – Friday, and a starting wage of $17.50/ hour.
