How You’ll Support Our Mission ESO is seeking an accounting professional to participate in the month-end closing process and help build a best-in-class function. The Revenue Accountant will help certify the accurate and timely execution of the closing processes. A highly organized individual and can prioritize among diverse and competing tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, you will be part of our Accounting and Finance team.
What You’ll Be Doing – the day to day
- Post monthly revenue within accounting system
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and variance analysis of relevant balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Assist with process improvement of accounting processes
- Review contracts and identify accounting impact
- Provide deliverables to support annual external audit
- Provide support in other accounting ad-hoc projects
Who You Are – The Essentials
- Experience in the accounting close and monthly reporting processes
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting position
- A passion for teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility
- Acute attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills – including written and verbal communications, interpersonal, analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to juggle multiple high priorities and have a willingness to learn
Who You Are – The Desirables
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- CPA or chartered accountant
- Experience with NetSuite
