Export Packers Company Limited Looking for Credit Representative at Brampton, Ontario, Canada Full Time

The Opportunity

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Credit Representative. They are responsible for the company’s collections, reconciliation and receivables from a given portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Collections and reconciliation of receivables for an assigned portfolio.
• Develop and maintain call plans for follow-up on accounts.
• Process new account credit applications.
• Review credit limits on new and existing accounts for the Credit Supervisor.
• Credit Hold approvals.
• Set up new accounts.
• Regularly review the portfolio with the Credit Supervisor to determine and discuss problem accounts and potential bad debts.
• Discussion with Sales regarding their accounts.
• Prepare daily bank deposits.
• Cash applications.
• Process customer dispute resolution, including issuing credit notes as required within 30 days.
• Account reconciliations.
• Meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills and planning and analytical ability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• College degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of previous Credit experience.
• Enrolled in CCP Program.
• Strong working knowledge of accounts receivables/credit collections.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Microsoft Navision experience would be an asset.
