Federated Co-operatives Limited Looking for Operations Advisor, Bulk Fuels (Temporary, up to 18 Months) at Saskatoon, SK Full Time

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Operations Advisor, Bulk Fuels on a temporary basis (up to 18 months). This position can be based out of one of our offices in Regina or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with remote work options available.

What you’ll do:

You will provide business operations guidance to Local Co-ops by giving them direction and support on bulk fuel operations programs, marketing activities, facility development, and people development to drive strategic growth for Local Co-ops.

• You will form relationships with Local Co-ops and become the first point of contact to assist them with operational efficiencies, environmental responsibilities, database support, marketing plans, program implementation, etc.
• You will provide insight and expertise on monthly sales reports, market trends, opportunities, challenges, and market intelligence that will impact Local Co-ops’ Bulk Fuel sales.
• You will manage the petroleum farm and commercial pricing program by providing suggested pricing through analysis of current market conditions, crude oil prices, rack prices, and industry trends.
• You will identify new and upgrade opportunities to ensure sustained growth occurs at Local Co-ops and create long-term project plans to execute these opportunities.
• You will plan and conduct training seminars for Local Co-ops in the knowledge areas of the environment, farm contact, petroleum marketing, technical, etc.
• You will support Local Co-op Team Leaders and Managers to excel in their roles and become prepared for higher-level positions.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

• You have a university degree, preferably in the areas of commerce or agriculture. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience in petroleum sales and operations
• You are comfortable with 60% travel time to visit Local Co-ops within Saskatchewan.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in collaboration, building relationships, and value the perspectives of others.
