Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Leader is responsible for planning and implementing comprehensive business development programs that increase sales revenue for their specific region and business vertical. The Sales Leader generates new sales revenue through both direct contact with clients and prospective clients in an assigned region and leading a team of sales professionals. An equally important function is to maintain and enhance our current client relationships through a disciplined engagement plan while being highly visible demonstrating our industry leadership in the region.
Factors for Success:
Build, lead and motivate a high functioning sales team accountable for growth targets through both new client sales and increased wallet share of existing accounts.
Develop a performance culture through a robust performance management process with all team members having regular feedback and specific sales targets with territory plans
Identify sales opportunities according to objectives outlined in the Annual Sales and Marketing Plan.
Develop client-specific sales plans, which effectively address clients’ needs and their decision-making processes.
Work with senior management to develop an Annual Sales and Marketing Plan for the respective region and business vertical.
Implement sales and marketing initiatives within the region
Education and Experience:
Minimum ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience coaching, mentoring and developing a high-performance team of professionals.
Working knowledge of property insurance, building construction, facility operations, or restoration is preferred
Well, networked with commercial owners, property/facility managers, and risk managers.
