Position Overview

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for as the social media & marketing for Flair airlines.

Duties

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will be at the forefront of our online presence, responsible for developing and executing social media and content strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage our audience, and promote flair across various platforms. your creativity and strategic thinking will contribute to building a vibrant online community and fostering a positive brand image. and will be accountable for the following duties:

• social media content creation and curation:
• work with the brand manager on the social media calendar and schedule posts.
• create visually appealing and compelling content for various social media platforms, including tik tok, facebook, twitter, instagram, and linkedin.
• curate relevant and timely content to maintain a dynamic and engaging online presence.
• act as the face of the brand on social media and actively participate as an on screen personality for flair, engaging with our customers in a fun and unique way.
• work with cross functional teams including in-flight crew to create fun social media videos utilizing trends.
• platform management:
• manage and monitor flair’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent and positive interactions with our audience; using sprout social.
• stay up-to-date with platform updates and trends to optimize social media presence.
• community engagement:
• foster community engagement by actively participating in conversations, responding to comments, and initiating discussions.
• implement strategies to grow and nurture flair’s social media community.
• actively monitor negative sentiment through social media listening.
• campaign execution:
• collaborate with marketing teams to execute social media campaigns that align with routes, promotions, events, partnerships and overall brand messaging.
• monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• digital marketing coordination:
• Coordinate and execute paid media campaigns across SEM, Paid Social, Display Ads, and Email Marketing to support Flair’s marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with the marketing, UX & e-commerce teams to align marketing efforts with routes, promotions, events, partnerships, and overall brand messaging.

Qualifications & Requirements

The preferred candidate should exemplify Flair’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Reliability, and Resilience while demonstrating success in previous roles. Additionally, we are seeking individuals who possess:

• Education:
• bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; or proven experience as a freelance social media pro or content creator.

• Experience:
• proven experience as a social media coordinator or similar role, with at least 1-3 years in social media management.
• previous experience as a content creator.
• experience as an on screen personality will be considered an asset.
• Skills and Abilities:
• in-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (tik tok, facebook, x, instagram, linkedin) and social media management tools like sprout social.
• familiarity with SEM, Paid Social, Display Ads, and Email Marketing platforms and best practices.
• you are a digital native and you live on social media and love it.
• creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and shareable content.
• basic graphic design skills and familiarity with content creation tools.
• excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• ability to adapt the brand voice across different social media channels.
• strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with passengers and address inquiries and concerns.
• ability to adapt to evolving social media trends and industry changes.
• willingness to travel for work and work nights/ weekends when needed for special events.
