A part time or full-time Ophthalmic Practice Manager for our Growing OHIP based Associate Ophthalmology Practice with strong management experience. .Focus Medical Ancillary is committed on delivering outstanding eye care in a positive team oriented environment.
Responsible for an Ophthalmologist’s clinical and surgical practice, you as a working manager will lead the ophthalmic practice operations. Your responsibilities will include billing, communications, managing the patient flow, staff training and development, and patient experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the staff are performing duties and responding to patient and provider needs, including call volume management
- Manages practice schedules for staff and providers, monitors and reallocates staff workload
- Runs management reporting for billings, payments, and collections
- Amends policies and procedures as needed
- Identifies training gaps and develops training plans
- Instills a culture of teamwork and optimizes staff performance
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent medical management experience
· 5+ years Specialist/Surgical practice experience, preferably within an eye care practice
· General management knowledge and expertise

Salary: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
