BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.(Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.)
3+ years’ experience with embedded C++ development.
Experience with embedded software development and work through the development lifecycle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical.
Solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in memory management, data structures, algorithms and software design.
Proven ability for troubleshooting and problem solving.
Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated capabilities are key initiatives.
Development experience with QNX or embedded Linux.
Working knowledge of adaptive and classic AUTOSAR, Ethernet/CAN network technologies, automotive diagnostic protocols, Google Protobuf.
Proactive and interested in learning new tools and technologies.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Enhanced multi-threading & IPC knowledge.
Experience with build system (Jenkins), source control system (GitHub), and defect tracking system (JIRA).
