Job Description:
We’re hiring a full time painter who will be required to sandblast and paint fabricated parts. Preferred 1+ years of painting experience. This is a weekday position, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., however, overtime may be required to meet deadlines. Flexible and/or part time hours may be considered if the candidate meets job requirements. Attention to detail is key for this position. Experience in automotive bodywork, using forklifts and powder coating are all considered to be assets. Benefits are offered after a 3 month probationary period for full time employees.

Fortified Industries is a fabrication company based in Blackfoot, AB, specializing in manufacturing truck decks and accessories for a variety of clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operating/maintaining sandblasting and painting equipment
- Applying primer and paint to fabricated parts via HVLP painting equipment
- Understand/follow procedures related to sandblasting/painting
- Follow safe work procedures/wear appropriate protective equipment
- Assisting in the final assembly of products after the coating process
