FoodX is growing, and we’re looking for an Operations Trainer to join our fully-remote team (from ANYWHERE in Canada)!
The Operations Trainer will be responsible for training management and team member functions at new warehouse openings in accordance with the Learning Solutions customized training program. The training program is the foundational onboarding experience that all new team members partake in, equipping them with the right knowledge, skills, and attitude to be successful and effective in their role and our company culture. When not facilitating training, the Operations Trainer will support with the development and sustainment of all training materials including SOPs, job aids, videos, and online courses. Occasionally, the Operations Trainer will also be relied upon to provide training or operations support for existing locations. International travel is required to facilitate training in person.

Responsibilities:
Become an expert on subject matter for each entry level position in all warehouse departments: In/out bound, Reverse Logistics & Sustainability, and ICQA
Facilitate in person training including formal learning sessions and hands on coaching/feedback
Exemplify FreshLocal company values and professionalism when working with clients and team members alike
Support operations in function when needed
Add value through reviewing and improving other documentation
Cultivate a welcoming culture that fosters teamwork, structure, and support
Continuously seek out new learning opportunities and best practices to enhance and improve our training structure and program
Additional duties as required
Previous experience working in warehouse operations preferred, however a combination of operations experience and education will be considered
Interested and flexible to travel internationally
A passion for teaching, coaching and development
Experience efficiently using Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
Willingness and ability to learn the basics on programs like Adobe InDesign
High functioning and patient in a fast-paced environment under substantial time pressure
Ability to maintain positive, productive relationships with both internal and external business partners
Detail-oriented and organized
Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal
High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
