Responsibilities:
• Draft letters, emails, collective labor agreement and legal proceedings;
• Proceed to the notification and service of proceedings;
• Ensure proper management, monitoring and compliance with judicial deadlines;
• Participate in the preparation of hearings and trials;
• Transcribe documents and dictations;
• Communicate with various legal stakeholders;
• Perform conflicts of interest searches and open new files;
• Responsible for timesheets entries and expense accounts;
• Prepare invoices for clients;
• Perform all other related tasks.
Profile:
• Diploma in legal technics, administration or any related field;
• Work experience as a legal assistant;
• Knowledge of the rules of legal practice;
• French and English bilingualism;
• Excellent oral and written communication;
• Mastery of the MS Office suite and dictaphone software;
• Knowledge the software Maitre is an asset;
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to meet tight deadlines.
