Full Throttle Concrete is currently accepting applications for an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our team. Full Throttle Concrete specializes in concrete foundations across Western Canada. We offer steady year-round work with the opportunity to travel across Canada.
The Concrete Foreman will work under the direction of the Project Manager and in conjunction with all relative departments for their area(s) of assignment. Responsibilities: • Read drawings, plans, blueprints and convey this information to crew • Plan, implement and manage tasks in accordance with priorities and goals • Concrete Installation [foundations / parkades] • Erect and strip false walls • Form walls, stairs, ramps, columns, pads, grade beams and pile caps • Work on underground parkades • Provide proper guidance and learning opportunities for laborers and apprentices • Efficiently delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew and contractors • Develop and oversee quality standards on all sites • Work effectively in climatic conditions Qualifications: • Good understanding of construction schedules • Minimum 10 years experience with concrete forming • Minimum 5 years in a foreman role preferred • Must be willing to travel cross country with crew to different markets • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to report project status to Supervisor • Good understanding of safety policies and safe work while ensuring that all safety rules are always being followed • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example Full Throttle Concrete offers an exciting high energy work environment with a competitive compensation package including top industry wages.
