About the Role:
The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing teams across the G Adventures business to assist in daily activities and key marketing projects. You will lead the planning and coordination of internal and external meetings, assist with building workback schedules, promotions, and supporting prize winners. You will work cross-functionally to coordinate and support business critical activities across the organization, and will help bring G’s marketing to life. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to work with an amazing group of individuals in a dynamic and exciting environment.
What You’ll be Doing:
Build workback schedules and coordinate between team members ensuring they understand deliverables and timelines
Champion promotion creation in Compass, working alongside Marketing, Yield and Sales teams
Assist team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities as requested
Participate in stakeholder and team meetings to discuss upcoming initiatives, ongoing campaigns and company priorities
Manage and support sales team with prize winner fulfillment and promotion creation
Support with the development of campaign briefs for integrated marketing and communications strategies to meet the stakeholder’s business objectives
Communicate key goals, objectives and deadlines for projects or campaigns including variety of team leads and stakeholders
Assist with coordinating all copy translations with team
Support and lead our swag and merchandise program
Support product launches with trip content, reviews, and training
Actively contribute to the Marketing Team in a collaborative and meaningful way that helps support, inspire and motivate fellow colleagues and managers alike
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree program required, preferably in marketing
Works collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in project management or coordination, not required but an asset
Strong communication skills and abilities to adapt to audience needs
Ability to balance competing priorities
Effective at building strong working relationships
Proactive and efficient with time management
Strong organization skills, relating to planning, scheduling and resourcing
Results-driven with strong analytical skills
