Job Description
Hybrid – Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week to Oshawa, Ontario.
The Role:
An exciting opportunity to be part of a team supporting General Motors Fleet as an EV Sales Manager. This person will assist in leading all EV initiatives for the GM Canada Fleet department. Serve as a subject matter expert for all GM vehicles to help customers intelligently transition from ICE to EV including product, infrastructure, and evolving technologies.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant to help fleet customers transition their fleets to electric vehicles, including consultation on EV products, education and cultural change, connectivity, government incentive processes, service needs, charging infrastructure, and other EV services.
Lead BrightDrop integration including systems migration, policies, procedures, and network.
Support GM Fleet customers through the entire EV sales and adoption process.
Serve as an educational lead for the GM Fleet team and GM Dealership Fleet staff to enhance their product knowledge.
Assist in developing strategic plans to accelerate current and future EV vehicle sales in fleet as well as help define and activate overall GM Fleet EV go-to-market approach.
Collaborate closely with Fleet Account Managers (FAMs) on customer contacts and Total Cost of Ownership comparisons, both competitive and ICE to EV.
Work closely with Portfolio Planning, Brand Teams/Product Planners, eDelivery and Mobility Solutions, EV Infrastructure, EV Ecosystem, Customer Experience, Public Policy, Global Connected Services, Finance, and Center of Learning teams.
Maintain strong relationships and support ongoing EV & infrastructure partnerships.
Support team by prospecting and finding customers for Fleet EV portfolio based on input from Brand Teams/Product Planners/Portfolio Planning.
Assist in managing the budgeting, procurement and purchasing for EV initiatives.
Lead special EV projects such as virtual roadshows and ride/drive events that showcase our current and future EVs to fleet customers.

Excellent knowledge of competitive products including ICE and EVs
Strong ICE and EV product and infrastructure knowledge
Ability to understand and stay up to date on evolving EV technologies, both GM and competitive industries
Developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
High level of personal drive/motivation/integrity
Ability to travel in Canada/US
