• Create software for vehicle level functions and perform integration and verification testing with minimal direction of lead engineers.
• Analyze software defects; figure out root cause, create software solution, test and verify closure.
• Performs design and analysis on changes.
• Diagnose, debug and solve issues related to vehicle hardware and software.
• Work with teams from multiple groups to meet project milestones
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of developing software in Python, C++, or other object orientated languages
• Experience developing unit tests
• 3+ years of experience in software development, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience working with large code bases, developing entirely new code and maintaining existing code, within a CI/CD environment
• Experience with agile software development
• Ability to investigate issues based on limited information. Demonstrated high level of analytical ability to resolve complex problems.
• Creative, disciplined, strong sense of responsibility
• Strong Interpersonal communication skills, proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members locally and remotely

Minimum Education Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical or Computer Engineering

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Understanding of major automotive vehicle systems such as Advanced Driver-Assistance (ADAS)
• Exposure to Automotive Platforms (e.g. AUTOSAR, QNX)
• Experience with Machine/Deep Learning algorithms
• Experience with Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Jupyter, PowerBI)
• Experience with big data databases (e.g. Parquet/SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with SAFe methodologies
