Located in Las Vegas, New York, or Vancouver, BC, the Compliance Analyst will play an integral role in driving the success of the government relations and compliance teams. As the Compliance Analyst you will be the trusted source of assessing compliance risks through data evaluation. You will work collaboratively across teams to conceive and design projects and presentations that will optimize communications between GeoComply and our valued customers and regulators.
What You Will Be Doing
Be the go-to resource for the Government Relations team to conduct and compile data analysis, presentations, whitepapers, and other materials for use with clients, regulators, and other external stakeholders
Document and maintain an internal database of systems and processes for the Government Relations team; create internal management procedures to build out and grow internal tools and capabilities
Use robust data analysis to conduct investigations and make recommendations to Compliance Account Managers on clients’ compliance risks
Collaborate with internal teams (such as Account Management, Compliance Fraud Analytics, Customer Success, and others) to ensure clients have the reports and tools necessary to address compliance risk from all angles, such as player communications, UX, etc.
Assist in researching new markets, and manage internal database of laws and regulations
Respond to regulator requests and provide answers and information as needed; assist with regulator engagement by attending meetings, taking notes and maintaining internal records
Understand and anticipate geolocation, anti-fraud and AML compliance risks and how our data can be leveraged in these arenas
About You
1+ years of experience in account management, risk management, fintech or regtech, KYC/due diligence, forensic accounting, and/or government relations
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
Analytical and detail-oriented, with a passionate for data analysis
Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have strong interpersonal skills and highly effective oral and written communication skills Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and G Suite Programs (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
