Georgian Bay General Hospital Looking for Rehabilitation Assistant – Temporary Full Time Job Share at Midland, ON Full Time

Required:

• Graduate from a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant program
• Related previous experience or sound knowledge of the rehabilitation assistant role
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the members of the interdisciplinary team
• A commitment to developing an individual’s optimum level of independence, restoring function and maintaining ability
• Evidence of self-direction and flexibility in your work approach
• Commitment to life-long learning and professional development
• Regular and punctual attendance is a requirement for this position
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in an inpatient Rehab, CCC setting
• Previous experience working with the geriatric population
• Seating experience would be an asset

Assets:

• Bilingual – English and French
• BCLS certification

Salary: $27.57 – $31.78 an hour
