GFL Environmental is looking for a CCTV Camera Truck Operator to support our Commercial lines of business out of our Bowmanville site. The Operator will be primarily responsible for the inspection of waste water systems using drones and robotic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a box truck, cub van, or flusher unit
- Operate CCTV units and equipment in a safe manner
- Work in conjunction with a combination flusher truck as part of a team
- Use CCTV units to inspect waste water lines, including but not limited to storm and sanitary lines
- Diagnose potential hazards, problems, concerns such as blockages, damage and/or deterioration of pipes
- Read and interpret maps, blueprints and directions on engineered drawings
- Complete confined space logs, hazard analysis, site inspection and vehicle inspections
- Maintain CCTV units by cleaning, lubricating, adjusting and/or doing minor field repairs
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- 2-4 years’ experience as a CCTV Operator
- Familiarity with sewer and water main industries, specifically in ICI sectors
- Valid NASSCO Certifications in:
- Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP)
- Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP)
- Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP)
- DZ Licence with clean abstract
- Standard knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential
- Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
- Nights and weekend work schedules may be required on occasion
- Strong ability to read maps and blueprints
- CTSPEC software experience would be considered an asset
- Bluebeam Revu Software experience would be considered an asset
- First Aid, CPR, Working at Heights, Worker Safety Awareness certifications are an asset
- Must be comfortable working in a Unionized environment – Liuna Local 183
