Job Description
Role Specific Accountabilities
- Provide support to the GTSL Controller in managing and overseeing the Corporate financial operations of the organization
- Prepare Corporate entities financial statements
- Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals and variance analysis
- Conduct the month end close process for Corporate entities including Marketing, Executive Cost Centers, Fixed Assets and Corporate Banking
- Prepare and/or assist in reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Review Store Entity Financial Statements
- Assist in the preparation Corporate budgets and forecasts
- Prepare and produce financial information for the year end audit
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management
Knowledge And Skills
- University degree in Accounting/Business
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Experience developing relationships with departments outside Finance
- Ability to speak/read/write French is an asset
- Retail experience
- Experience working in a large organization with many legal entities
- Excellent time management skills
