Accountant / Accounting Manager

Full Job Description
Position Responsibilities
- Reporting: Preparation of month-end/annual financial reports, costing reports and generate AR and AP reporting for the management.
- Lead the AR team to ensure all KPI’s met.
- Costing: calculation of job costing per job, maintain monthly cost reports and process for directors and managers.
- Month-end journal entries and reconciliation of GL entries.
- Preparation of month-end Bank reconciliation for multiple currencies.
- Post payroll hours weekly and generate payroll reports through our payroll software for direct deposit.
- Accounts receivable duties, batch and import AR files and making collection calls.
- Team oriented and results driven using collaboration to achieve goals.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
Preferred experience & skills
- Minimum 5-year experience in Accounting/Finance. NON Canadian Experience will be considered
- Minimum 3 years of experience on Excel.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience using QuickBooks is preferred.
- Strong with Microsoft office Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A go-getter attitude and the willingness to help around the office with ad-hoc tasks.
