Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.

5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Experience programming in C and/or C++.

Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.

3 years of relevant experience in one of the following: Video Compression, Computer Vision, Signal/Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Real-time communication, Probability Theory, and/or Applied Mathematics.

Experiences of contributing to international video compression standards, and developing intellectual property portfolio.

Responsibilities

Innovate new technologies and algorithms that turn today’s in video compression.

Prototype developed algorithms while addressing the challenges of complexity.

Work with experts around the world to standardize technology into a next-generation standard.

Disseminate knowledge through papers, patents, standard proposals, and talks.

Generate intellectual property in the form of patents.
